To locate the City-County Building, please see the map. There are two entrances into the City-County Building: Main Street and Hill Street.
Chancery Division / Clerk and Master
Main Street Entrance
Enter the City-County Building and pass through the guard station. Go down the long, glass corridor and into the main part of the building. As you exit the corridor, turn left toward the elevators. You are on the Main Floor (M). Take any elevator up to Floor 1. After you exit the elevator area, turn left and walk toward the far end of the building. You will see a hanging sign at the far end of the building that reads: “Clerk and Master.” This is the Chancery Division front counter.
Hill Street Entrance
Enter the City-County Building and pass through the guard station. Go left to the elevators. You are on L1. Take any elevator up to Floor 1. After you exit the elevator area, turn left and walk toward the far end of the building. After you exit the elevator area, turn left and walk toward the far end of the building. You will see a hanging sign at the far end of the building that reads: “Clerk and Master.” This is the Chancery Division front counter.
Probate Division
Main Street Entrance
Enter the City-County Building and pass through the guard station. Go down the long, glass corridor and into the main part of the building. As you exit the corridor, turn left toward the elevators. You are on the Main Floor (M). Take any elevator up to Floor 3. Walk toward the spiral staircase and turn right. The Probate Division is through the wooden, double doors.
Hill Street Entrance
Enter the City-County Building and pass through the guard station. Go left to the elevators. You are on Floor L1. Take any elevator up to Floor 3. Walk toward the spiral staircase and turn right. The Probate Division is through the wooden, double doors.
