Prosecutors in District Attorney General Charme Allens Child Abuse Unit obtained multiple convictions today against a man who raped his stepdaughter. Doyle Wayne Mason, Jr., 37, was convicted by a jury of thirty-six counts, including eleven counts of Rape, eleven counts of Incest, eleven counts of Statutory Rape by an Authority Figure, and one count each of Aggravated Sexual Battery, Sexual Battery by an Authority Figure, and Solicitation of a Minor....more

Prosecutors in DA Charme Allens Child Abuse Unit obtained a sixty-year sentence against a man who raped a nine-year-old third grader. Gary Allen Strange, 33, was convicted of three counts of Rape of a Child and one count of Incest. Prosecutors in DA Charme Allens Child Abuse Unit obtained the maximum sentence allowed under the law against a man who raped a twelve-year-old boy. Anthony Demarcus Martin, 41, was convicted by a jury in November of Rape of a Child. Today, Judge Scott Green sentenced Martin to forty years in prison without the possibility of parole to run consecutive to a seven-year sentence in another case....more

Carlton Edward Smith, 56, was convicted of Burglary, Assault, and Theft. Smith has dozens of prior convictions dating back to 1980 including seven prior felony convictions for Aggravated Assault, Theft, and drug dealing offenses.
