Voluntary Retirement Plan
Participants in the Asset Accumulation Plan (Asset Plan), Closed Defined Benefit Plan (Closed DB Plan), Sheriff’s Total Accumulation Retirement Plan (STAR), and Uniformed Officers Pension Plan (UOPP) are eligible to make pretax contributions up to the IRS limits. Participants in the Asset Plan may be eligible for employer matching contributions based upon years of service. Closed DB Plan participants are eligible for a specific employer match. Participants in STAR and UOPP are not eligible for employer matching contributions. Participants direct the investment of their account.
