Visitors to The Cove can max out on Fort Loudon Lake with paddling, fishing, and a swimming beach. During the warm months, the River Sports Cove store is open for standup paddleboard, canoe, and kayak rentals.
On land there is a playground, volleyball and shoreline walks! The Cove offers a series of paved loops that wind their way around the park, alongside the swimming beach and through a quiet woodsy section. A 0.9-mile paved greenway starts at the Cove and connects trail users to 2.6 miles of multi-use trails adjacent to the roundabout at Northshore and Concord Road.
The Cove, located at 11808 S. Northshore Drive, is open from dawn to dusk.
