- Please confirm which court you need to be in before your court date. It should be marked at the bottom of your citation or should be noted on the back of your citation.
- If you are scheduled to appear for booking on any Misdemeanor Citation issued in Knox County, then you must appear at the Criminal Processing Unit (CPU) Booking Area on the Main Level of the City-County Building at 7:30 a.m. on your booking date.
Sometimes you may receive two citations during the same incident, which require you to appear on two different court dates in two different courts. For example, you may be required to appear in General Sessions Court for booking and arraignment on a Driving on Suspended License citation and you may be required to appear in City Court/Municipal Court for Speeding. Please check your citations to confirm before your court date(s).
