A native of Johnson City, Tennessee, Jessica Jernigan-Johnson graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2013 with high honors. Jessica also obtained her Masters of Arts from the University of Exeter prior to attending law school.
Prior to joining the Law Department, Jessica was in private practice representing healthcare and financial entities in both state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels. In addition to her work for the Law Department, Jessica is an adjunct professor at the UT College of Law.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and twin daughters, particularly enjoying the outdoor beauty of East Tennessee.
