KCHD has many educational resources that can benefit your family's health. We cover a wide array of topics, such as breastfeeding tips, heart health and diabetes management classes, and information on how to request immunizations records and birth certificates.   • Breastfeeding Resources and Support image

    We offer FREE, online resources
    including guides, breastfeeding
    videos, and a toolkit for families on our website.

  • Diabetes Classes image

    These FREE classes provide
    diabetes management education and resources for those with
    diabetes or pre-diabetes. Classes are offered quarterly in-person and online.

  • Food Resource Guide image

    This guide lists addresses and
    phone numbers for local food
    pantries available across Knox
    County.

  • Heart Health image

    We offer a FREE, two-part heart health class twice a year that stresses the importance of healthy eating, exercise, weight
    management, and goal setting.
    Classes are available in-person and online

  • Knox Teen Health image

    An online resource that promotes open dialogue about physical and mental health between teens,
    parents and teachers. These

  • CHANT image

    Requests for immunization records, birth certificates and other vital
    records are now available online.

On the first Wednesday of every month, all KCHD offices and clinics are closed in the morning for staff in-service. On these days, the main location (140 Dameron Ave.) will open at 11 a.m. and the West Clinic (1028 Old Cedar Bluff) will open at 11:30 a.m.

Clinics will also open at 10:30 a.m. (Main location) and 11 a.m. (West Clinic) on the following Wednesdays: April 17 and July 17. All other offices will open at 8 a.m.
