Commissioner Adronicus Thomas

Adronicus Thomas is a native of Goodwater, Alabama, but has called Knoxville home for the past 35 years. Mr. Thomas graduated from Knoxville College with a B.S in Mathematics. He was a scholar and an athlete as he was a four-year letterman with the college football team. Currently, Mr. Thomas is employed as a Senior Asset Manager for KCDC where he provides low-income housing for Knoxville/Knox County.

Adronicus serves on the Executive Board for the Knoxville Football Official Association. He has been involved in the community for many years in various capacities including serving as a founding member of the Center City Youth Sports Program (CCYSP) which provides an opportunity for intercity youth to participate in a youth sports league. Adronicus has served as a mentor with the Omega Jr. Lamplighters Program for 5th grader boys at Sarah Moore Greene Elementary in East Knoxville. He also is an active member of the Iota Alpha Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.,

Mr. Thomas is very proud to serve on the Election Commission and looks forward to working to ensure that each vote cast is counted. He is most proud; however, to be the father of an adult daughter and grandfather of a very special grandson.
