Hannah Hopper, a native of Knoxville, serves as Chief of Staff for the Emerald Youth Foundation, a ministry serving young people in the inner city.
Mrs. Hopper is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and holds a Master’s degree from Lipscomb University.
Prior to joining Emerald Youth, she worked for the City of Knoxville Mayor’s Office, Governor Bill Haslam, and for a leading local public relations company.
In addition to serving on the Election Commission, Mrs. Hopper serves on the school board for Berean Christian School. She has also served on the board of directors for the Central Business Improvement District and as a member of the Tennessee Commission on Aging and Disability. She is a member of the 2017 class of Leadership Knoxville, a staff member with Volunteer Girls State, and a self-described “lover of art, music, and Diet Coke.” She and her husband, Phillip, live in North Knoxville with their foxhound, Hank.
