The Knox County Circuit and Civil Sessions Court Clerk’s Offices will remain open during regular business hours for the foreseeable future.

Due to the ongoing public health situation, however, court users are urged to limit visits to the clerk’s offices.

There will be no in-person proceedings in circuit or civil sessions court through March 31, 2020. Hearings scheduled for that period will be reset.

We encourage filing by mail and fax. Those filings will be processed daily.

Please include checks for filings that require a payment. Civil sessions payments can also be made by mail. Please include a docket number on checks.

Prospective Knox County jurors who received a summons to report for jury duty between March 13, 2020 through March 31, 2020 will not report.
