Registration for Adult & Youth Softball Umpires

When: Wednesday, February 25th, 2009 -- Between 4:30pm -- 6:30pm
Where: Knox County Parks & Recreation Office -- 2447 Sutherland Avenue
Cost to Register: $30.00 -- Make checks payable to Tennessee ASA -- NO CASH will be accepted.

The meeting will be Monday, March 9, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at the Public Defender's Facility, located at 1101 Liberty Street. The registration fee for 1 night of play is $275.00. Be prepared to make payment on this night.  Money Orders, cash or checks accepted. Make checks payable to Knox County Parks & Recreation. Spring leagues will be played at the Knox County Sportspark, located at 8050 Oak Ridge Highway. Spring Adult Leagues to be offered are listed below.

NO EXCEPTIONS - Fees must be paid when signing a team up.

ASA & NSA Youth Leagues:

The youth softball Commissioners Meeting will be held on Monday, February 9th, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at the Knox County Parks and Recreation Department Office.

Age Groups: Up to 8 yrs, 9 - 10 yrs, 11 - 12 yrs, 13 - 14 yrs, 15 - 16 yrs, 17 - 18 yrs
(Age as of January 1)

The Doyle Academy Softball Coaches Certification:
Annual Knox County Softball Coaches Clinic will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Bearden Middle School. Check-in will start at 12:45 pm. Clinic will run from  1 pm - 4 pm.  The clinic is provided free to all Knox County Softball coaches, coaching within our programs. With a Doyle Coaches’ Certification the participant receives, personal liability, hands on training techniques, organization tips and handouts, drill solutions, learn safety and first aid issues, speed and agility tips.
