Waiter Convicted of Stealing Customer Credit Card Numbers

Prosecutors in DA Charme Allens Career Gang Unit obtained a twelve-year sentence against a career criminal who stole customer credit card numbers while working as a waiter at several west Knoxville restaurants. David Carroll Masoner, 46, was convicted of three counts of Identity Theft. In a sentencing hearing today, Judge Scott Green sentenced Masoner to serve twelve years in prison....more


Bloods Gang Member Sentenced to Sixty-Eight Years in Prison

Prosecutors in DA Charme Allens Career Gang Unit obtained a sixty-eight-year sentence for a member of the Bloods street gang. Nathan Garfield Flemming, IV, 24, was convicted of two counts each of Attempted First Degree Murder, Especially Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Robbery, Carjacking, and four counts of Employing a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony. Gang Member Convicted of Possessing Firearm

Prosecutors in DA Charme Allens Career Gang Unit obtained a conviction today against a Crip gang member and convicted felon who threatened to shoot up the Austin Homes Homecoming. Antonio Demont Thomas, 36, was convicted of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon. Judge Scott Green set the case for sentencing on September 9 where Thomas faces up to ten years in prison....more


Child Rapist Sentenced to 80 Years after Impregnating Child Twice

Prosecutors in DA Charme Allens Child Abuse Unit obtained the maximum sentence of eighty years against a child rapist who impregnated a child twice, once when she was ten and once when she was eleven. At a jury trial in June, Trendell Ray Brady, 34, was convicted of two counts of Rape of a Child. At a sentencing hearing today before Judge Steve Sword prosecutors sought and obtained the maximum penalty, eighty years in prison without the possibility of parole....more


Rocky Hill Drunk Driver Convicted

Prosecutors in DA Charme Allens DUI Unit obtained convictions against an impaired driver who could not maintain his lane while driving down Northshore Drive. Eric Lloyd Turner, 48, was convicted of Driving Under the Influence First Offense. When the jury returned its verdict, Judge Bob McGee sentenced Turner to serve forty-eight hours in jail and suspended his drivers license for one year....more


Modern Day Opium Den Closed after Multiple Overdoses

Prosecutors in DA Charme Allens DUI Unit secured convictions today against John Dwayne Henry, 50, for Driving Under the Influence (Fourth or Subsequent Offense) and Driving on a Revoked License. Father Sentenced to Sixteen Years for Abusing Children

Prosecutors in District Attorney General Charme Allens Criminal Court Division obtained a sixteen-year sentence against a father who physically abused his two sons. In January 2015, Kenneth Michael McIntosh, 41, pled guilty to sixteen counts of Aggravated Child Abuse and one count of Child Abuse. Prosecutors in DA Charme Allens Career Gang Unit obtained convictions against a rapist who sexually assaulted two victims within twenty-four hours. Lucius Abraham Mitchell, 38, was convicted of three counts of Rape, Aggravated Kidnapping, two counts of Aggravated Burglary, and Sexual Battery. In a sentencing hearing today, Judge Scott Green sentenced Mitchell to serve fifty-five years in prison with the first forty years to be served without the possibility of parole....more

Jonathan Mitchell Cooper, 31, was convicted of three counts of Rape of a Child, three counts of Incest, and one count of Aggravated Sexual Battery.
