Prosecutors in DA Charme Allen's Career Gang Unit obtained convictions against a man who murdered two victims, stole their property, and set their house on fire. Benjamin Tillman Foust, Jr., 36, was convicted of two counts of First Degree Murder, ten counts of First Degree Felony Murder, four counts of Especially Aggravated Robbery, two counts of Aggravated Arson, and two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. ...more


Man Convicted of Raping Third Grader

Prosecutors in DA Charme Allen's Child Abuse Unit obtained convictions against a man who raped a nine-year-old third grader. Gary Allen Strange, 32, was convicted of three counts of Rape of a Child and one count of Incest. Judge Bob McGee set the case for sentencing on April 27. Rape of a Child carries a punishment between twenty-five and forty years in prison....more

Prosecutors in DA Charme Allen's Career Gang Unit obtained multiple convictions today against a man who victimized dozens of people by breaking into their homes and vehicles. David Nathanial Keisling, 36, was convicted of eight counts of Aggravated Burglary and twenty-two counts of Burglary of a Vehicle. In a sentencing hearing before Judge Steve Sword, Keisling was sentenced to serve twenty-six years in prison....more


Child Rapist Sentenced to Thirty-Three Years

Prosecutors in DA Charme Allen's Child Abuse Unit obtained a thirty-three-year sentence for a man who raped a second grader. Joshua Michael Stewart, 34, was convicted by a jury in September of Rape of a Child and two counts of Aggravated Sexual Battery. At today's sentencing hearing, Judge Steve Sword ordered the Defendant to serve thirty-three years without the possibility of parole. ...more

Prosecutors in DA Charme Allen's Felony Drug Unit obtained convictions today against a heroin and cocaine dealer from Detroit following the execution of a search warrant at a residence in North Knoxville. Markeisha Denise Ellis, 28, pled guilty to Possession with Intent to Sell Heroin and Possession with Intent to Sell Cocaine.
