Trail Volunteer Program Application

The Trail Volunteer Program offers local trail and greenway users the opportunity to make our community’s park system a friendlier, cleaner, more inviting place to bike, run and play. The three goals of the program are to:

  1. GREET all trail users and act as a goodwill ambassador for our community.
  2. INFORM users about the park and trail system, trail directions, etiquette and rules.
  3. ASSIST users who are lost, need bike repair, require first aid (when trained) and assist local governments or land managers concerning maintenance and illegal activity.

Trail Volunteers must be 18 years old and own a cell phone. If you are selected for the program you will be required to pay for and pass a national background check ($18.50) and attend a training program. Successful candidates will receive complimentary shirts and jackets.
