Deana has lived in Knox County all her life. She is the oldest daughter of Dean and Evalyn Cooper and she has one sister, Donna. Deana graduated from Karns High School and then attended Pellissippi Tech and graduated with a 2-year degree in Marketing. Deana met her husband, Freddie, in high school and they were married in July back in 1984. They have one son, Mason, and he is married to a great young lady Lacey. Deana and Freddie enjoy spending time together watching movies and relaxing in their new gazebo.

Deana has been with Knox County Parks & Recreation for 19 years. She began her career KCPR as an Administrative Assistant and is currently our Recreation Coordinator. Some of her favorite memories are helping to plan events, from retirement parties to Easter Egg Hunts. Deana is a caring and helpful team member who is a great asset to our department.
