Second Saturday Concert Series continues in July

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (May 23, 2018) – Knox County’s Second Saturday Concert series continues in July with classic rockers The Jennings Street Band taking the stage at The Cove and blues-influenced Crawdaddy Jones playing tunes over at New Harvest Park. The live entertainment, which is free and open to the public, runs from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, at each location.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or lawn chairs. Please note: No alcohol is allowed.

The dates and bands for the rest of the summer 2018 are:

  • July14 – The Jennings Street Band (The Cove) and Craw Daddy Jones (New Harvest)
  • Aug. 11 – Freequency (The Cove) and Wild Blue Yonder (New Harvest)

The Cove at Concord Park is located at 11808 Northshore Drive. The park features several other summertime amenities, including a beach, playground, sand volleyball court, walking trail and fishing areas. River Sports also rents canoes and kayaks at this location.

New Harvest Park is located at 4775 New Harvest Lane. The park features a number of amenities, including a pavilion, walking trail, playground and splash pad.
