CLERK MIKE HAMMOND SWORN IN FOR ANOTHER TERM

Knox County Criminal Court Clerk Mike Hammond took his Oath of Office, administered by Judge Bob R. McGee, Criminal Court Division II, on Friday, August 31, 2018.  Clerk Hammond, who ran for office unopposed, has made great strides in improving the efficiencies and operations for the Criminal, General Sessions – Criminal Division and Fourth Circuit court offices.  To-Date, Clerk Hammond has facilitated in turning over $3.9 million in efficiency dividends to Knox County and over $3 million in restitution payments.  Clerk Hammond states, “I feel honored and privileged to have the opportunity to serve another term, and I have even bigger and brighter plans for the offices’ future!”.
