Many may know that Court Clerk Mike Hammond has nicknamed the funds he submits to Knox County as an "Efficiency Dividend", primarily because these funds are generated due to his staff's efficient operations and collection efforts, and that they are being paid to the citizens (shareholders) of Knox County.  For the third time this year, the Court Clerk and his staff have proven yet again their steadfast commitment to operate with the highest level of efficiency and diligence.  During yesterday's Knox County Commission meeting, Mike Hammond proudly presented a check for $700,000 to Knox County.  Since taking office, Mr. Hammond has turned over $3.4 million to Knox County!
