Knox County Court Clerk, Mike Hammond, appeared before the Knox County Commission Monday, July 25th to present another "Efficiency Dividend" check. The $100,000 check represents the transfer of excess fees from the Court Clerk's Office to the Knox County General Fund. Mr. Hammond reports that this progress is largely due to the considerable efforts of the front-line Deputy Court Clerks and the continuing effort of the Clerk's Office to keeping operating costs low. To date, over two million dollars has been presented to Knox County by the Court Clerk's Office since the beginning or Mr. Hammond's administration.
