At the Monday, April 25th Knox County Commission meeting, Criminal Court Clerk Mike Hammond proudly presented a check for $300,000 to Knox County.  The funds submitted were generated from the Court Clerk’s first quarter operations and are the direct result of the successful implementation of a new collections effort.  Moreover, these results are a credit to the staffs’ steadfast embrace of efficiency and consistent attention to detail.  These funds have been nicknamed an “Efficiency Dividend” by the Court Clerk, because they accumulated due to the efficiency of operations and are being paid to the citizens (shareholders) of Knox County.
