The staff of the Criminal Division for the General Sessions Court Clerk collected money this Christmas season, to purchase hats and gloves for the homeless. In total, the staff was able to purchase sixty-six hats and ninety-two pairs of gloves. The office staff chose to donate the hats and gloves to Lost Sheep Ministry. The Ministry serves Knoxville's homeless population with a variety of vital services and support. Lost Sheep Ministry will be able to make the hats and gloves available to many of approximately two hundred and fifty homeless individuals that it serves each week. Criminal Court Clerk Mike Hammond commends the General Sessions Staff for their commitment to the most vulnerable among us.
