The Knox County Fourth Circuit Court has long-since held a very beneficial, cohesive and positive working relationship with the Knoxville Family Justice Center. These two entities share a similar mission to provide Knox County victims of domestic violence with options, choices and guidance. The Family Justice Center is a comprehensive support center that not only provides co-located services for victims and their children, but also for prosecutors, detectives, clergy and social service professionals. The Center’s 2019-2020 Board President, Knox County’s Criminal Court Clerk Mike Hammond, has served on the Board for two years and has seen firsthand how this essential community resource has grown and accomplished many milestone victories – but Clerk Hammond envisions even more for the next fiscal year! Take a moment to review the FJC’s 2018-2019 Annual Report to see all the great things this commendable center has achieved this past fiscal year, and be on the lookout for some new and innovative campaigns coming soon to increase FJC awareness and fundraising!
