The following items will NOT be on the September consent agenda:
Honorary resolutions to be sent forward to the BOC meeting for a formal vote and recognition.
Item 8. Appointment of an alternate member of the Knox County Sheriff’s Merit Council. We have sent a reminder for the applicants to be present at the Work Session.
BZA Item 9. Please have your nominee for the BZA confirmed prior to the BOC voting meeting next week. This applies to the 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th districts. Please send the name to Dru and Jill.
Schools Item 14. This is interesting! Does this mean that one or more of our students will be able to have their projects sent to the space station?
Schools Item 18. How many of the schools does this apply ?
Parks and Rec. Item 38. Please provide a little more detail as to how this fits into the Master Greenway plans. Currently we are in a process of gaining feedback from the community on our Greenways. What is the next step for this area as related to Greenway connections? Do we have a good shot at this grant?
Finance 40- Budget allocations. Commission please review and bring questions if you have them.
Mark Stephens Naming of Building . We have one of the best public defender programs in the country. Commissioner Gill please share some of the details about his accomplishments at the work session – Thank you.
