Beginning this fiscal year I will provide a financial statement each month from the Knox County Trustee’s Office. This report is intended to make the citizens of Knox County completely aware of the financial status of my office.
The report lists property tax collections, sales tax, interest earned, PILOT & TIF (Payment In Lieu Of Tax & Tax Increment Financing), as well as a listing of Bank Accounts and balances, along with an Investment Schedule. The report is prepared in a month to month and year to year comparison style so you can readily see the past two years activity. I will update this reports monthly. These are the same reports furnished to the Knox County Commission and also the outside independent auditors hired to audit the Knox County Trustee’s office.
