Knox County Mandatory Retirement Sessions

The Knox County Retirement & Pension Board, the Knox County Mayor, Sheriff, and Fee Office Holders, along with USI Consulting Group are working together to conduct mandatory retirement sessions to all Knox County Government employees eligible for participation in the Retirement System.

These retirement sessions will be covered in three phases:

  1. Retirement Plan overview specific to your retirement plan for those participants in the Asset Accumulation Plan, UOPP, and STAR.
  2. Investment education for the Asset Accumulation Plan and STAR.
  3. Planning for Retirement for Asset Accumulation Plan, UOPP, and STAR.

We are currently holding meetings for Phase 1 of the Asset Accumulation Plan.  Our goal is to have class sizes of about 25, which means there will be about 100 classes just to cover Phase 1 of the Asset Accumulation Plan. We have set up this email address for questions regarding the Educational Classes and this website for scheduling employees at specific meetings.  Please consult with your department head before scheduling your session.  We are working to accommodate each department’s needs with Knox County Government.
