( FROM DOWNTOWN KNOXVILLE VIA HENLEY STREET:
Take Henley Street Bridge south to Baptist Hospital. turn left on Blount Avenue. Bear right on Sevier Avenue. Follow Sevier Avenue and turn left by railroad tracks at major bend onto Island Home Avenue. Follow Island Home Avenue and then turn right by entrance to Island Home Park (still Island Home Avenue) and follow signs to Ijams, approximately one mile on the left.

FROM INTERSTATE 40:
Take exit 388 on I-40 and follow signs to James White Parkway. Follow James White Parkway south over the Tennessee River. Take first exit, which is Sevier Avenue/Hillwood Drive exit and turn left. Follow Sevier Avenue until it turns into Hillwood Drive and dead ends into Island Home Avenue. Turn right on Island Home Avenue, bear sharp left and follow signs to Ijams. Entrance to Ijams is approximately one mile on the left.

Turn left onto Idumea Rd, travel .6 miles to Hogskin Rd, turn left and travel about .5 mile down Hogskin, the park will be on the right.
