Citation Procedure

Knox County will address problem properties through the Codes Enforcement Office. To report a dirty lot, inoperable vehicle, blighted property, violation of the home occupation or illegal use rules, contact the Office of Neighborhoods at 215-HELP or email neighborhoods@knocounty.org. The process of enforcement generally follows the flowchart below:
