Operation Red, White and Blue Gap Creek Elementary Project Rescheduled for Monday, October 19th

Due to inclement weather conditions on September 11th, the Mayor and his staff have rescheduled their Operation Red, White and Blue project at Gap Creek Elementary School.  This Monday, October 19th, Mayor Ragsdale and members of his staff will be joined by Knox County/UT Extension staff to plant a a fall garden with students at the school.  Stormwater and solid waste staff will also be on hand to demonstrate using the rain barrel and composter that the county is donating to the school for environmental education.  Media availability is scheduled at 2:00 p.m.
