Pat on the Back: Amanda Latham, Juvenile Court Probation
Nominated by: Matthew Jones
“Amanda is a dedicated and hard working advocate for the children and families of Knox County, but she is also very environmentally focused as well. She has started a recycling drive here at the court where she collects cans, bottles, cardboard, and other often trashed recyclable materials and takes them on her own time to be disposed of properly. She even goes so far as to continuously remind us all that we should bring these items to her. I believe, as well as all of the juvenile court staff does, that Amanda deserves a big pat on the back for her efforts to better the lives of the people of this great county and to make a world wide impact through recycling.”
