For anyone who has wondered about air and water quality, food safety or other health issues in our community, the Knox County Health Department 2007 Knox County Environmental Health Status Report is now available. A valuable resource for teachers, community planners, journalists and parents, the report answers questions such as "Where does my water come from and is it safe?"

The full report, which includes 100 pages of color-illustrated text and an additional 100 pages of detailed appendices, is available in hard copy (3-ring binder) or as an interactive CD (requests for multiple copies in CD format only, please) with copious links to websites where additional details beyond that provided in the report can be obtained.
