Andrew is a Knoxville native and a partner with The Lawyers of Brown & Roberto. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Psychology. He received his Juris Doctorate from the UT College of Law in 2002.
Before entering private practice, Andrew was a local entrepreneur who founded and led Aware Entertainment. Later he served as a Workers’ Compensation Specialist with the Tennessee Department of Labor. He became a member of the Tennessee Bar Association in 2007 and is an accredited attorney with the Department of Veterans Affairs and a member of the National Organization of Veterans’ Advocates (NOVA).
Andrew serves the Knoxville community in a number of ways. He is the chair of the advisory board for The Salvation Army. In recognition of his service, the organization presented him with their Partner in Mission Award in 2012. He was only the 33rd person nationwide to receive this honor. In 2015, The Lawyers of Brown & Roberto were also presented with the Red Shield Award in recognition for their service to the organization.
Andrew served on the executive committee of the 2014 Congressional Medal of Honor Convention in Knoxville and has led The Lawyers of Brown & Roberto in their service to local military veterans. The firm works closely with the Tennessee Veterans Business Association, and founded INVEST, an annual business competition that provides training, resources and startup capital for veteran entrepreneurs.
In addition, the firm sponsors and serves with Celebrate Recovery in North Knoxville, and partners with the Epilepsy Foundation to provide bike helmets for underprivileged children. Andrew and his family are members of Cokesbury United Methodist Church.
