Bruce Wuethrich is the County's Senior Director of Engineering and Public Works. He served as a Deputy Director in the department for 10 years before assuming the directorship in 1998.
Wuethrich is a board member of the Knox County Employees Credit Union. He currently serves the Technical Committee for the Tennessee Planning Organization. He is also on the Air Quality Management Board and the KUB Pace 10 Board and is a member of the American Public Works Association and the Tennessee County Highways Official Association.
Wuethrich earned a Bachelor's in Engineering from the University of Tennessee in 1984.
