IMPORTANT: Closing times listed do not always reflect applicants will be accepted up to that time. It may be necessary to cease taking applicants earlier in order to complete processing by the end of the business day. For example: An office closing time may be listed as 4:30 p.m. but taking applicants may be stopped at 4:00 p.m. in order to process applicants by 4:30 p.m.
The Knox County Clerk’s Office now accepts Visa and MasterCard for most services. A fee of 2.5% is assessed by the electronic processing company on all credit and debit card transactions. This fee does not go to the Knox County Clerk’s Office.
When you submit a check to the Knox County Clerk’s Office you are authorizing electronic movement of funds from your account to the Knox County Clerk’s account for payment of your transaction.
